These interview questions are....... 1)        Tell me about yourself – the potential for waffle is enormous. 2)        Where do you see yourself in five years time? – this is difficult to answer as it is so long into the future. 3)        Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses – you don’t want to shoot yourself in the foot by being “too honest,” yet you do want to engage in a realistic conversation with the interviewer. 4)        Tell me about a time where you made a mistake – does an interviewer really want to know when you’ve made a mess of things? 5)        Why should we hire you? – how are you supposed to know whom you are up against? Never fear help is here. Take a read of this terrific article by Fiona Smith in the BRW. She provides some handy ways to approach the five trickiest interview questions. Oh, and while you're thinking about these questions - check out our new app myPitch, too.
